In English the children have been writing sentences about different pictures from the story using full stops, capital letters and finger spaces. Our star words to use in our writing this week were' magnificent' and 'dazzling'. In free flow we have been making carriages, writing invitations to our own ball and making magic wands!

In Maths this week we have been learning about subtraction. Children have been using manipulatives such as counters, cubes and bears to help them subtract and drawing pictures to help them. Next week we will be learning more about using a number line to subtract!
