Please remember if your child is walking on their own to school to remind them to be vigilant, safe and cautious. It is worth discussing with your child what they should do if someone approaches them or if they feel unsafe at any point on the way to or from school.

We would normally advise children to walk in groups and this is still good practice - however, in the current situation it should be at a safe distance.
