As part of the school’s commemoration of Remembrance Day, the children have been learning about why we hold a 2 minute silence and what Remembrance Sunday is all about.
In honour of this, Year 2 created some artwork which we think is just stunning. One young man also used his own initiative and ‘planted’ some crosses in his back garden to ‘remember the soldiers that died’. If you look carefully, you can also spot a soldier at the back of the garden watching over his comrades.
Well done Year 2, amazing work.
